Hi! I was wondering if you have heard of hula-hooping as a way to workout? I've been hoop dancing for almost 2 years now and last June I lost 15 pounds in a month by taking my dance hoop outside for about 30-45 minutes every night. There are sites that sell weighted (my hoops are made for dance not fitness) hula-hoops and routines you can use to exercise. To learn more please visit hoopnotica. com, there is a lot of customer testimony and inspiring stories. Just thought I'd share. Happy Hooping!
hi! yes, i’ve heard of it! i think its great! 15 lbs is amazing! thanks for sharing!
I used to starve myself. I lost weight really fast; I went from 190 lbs to 130lbs in a really short amount of time. While I starved myself I also used to exercise a lot. Because of this I believe my metabolism slowed down quiet dramatically. I begun to eat again and I gained weight extremely fast again up to about 170lbs. Then I started exercising and eating right and I went down to 160lbs.I want to lose more weight but it seems impossible now. Any tips? My metabolism seems too slow.
please don’t starve yourself my dear, you might think you’re losing weight, but you’re losing muscle too. and as you’ve now experienced, you’ll gain it back. i’m not sure how tall you are, and what you’re eating now, but i’m really proud of you for doing things the right way. there’s a few things you can try. make sure you’re drinking lots of water, warm water with lemon is known to burn fat a boost your metabolism. you can also try drinking green tea, and you can even try detoxing for a few days.
I literally went through your whole blog, all 127 pages! Let's say I saved a ton of healthy recipes and health tips for my comp. :) I'm glad I found your blog, because my mother has been struggling with her weight and I want to help motivate her on getting fit! I will help her by doing exercise and help cooking some delicious meals with her, because I also need to tone myself and get healthy (even though I'm not overweight).
awwww, omg! you’re awesome! it doesn’t matter what weight you are, eating healthy is always a good choice! your mother is lucky to have you :)
Hey, im just gonna dive in straight away. so whenever i workout my legs and arms (if i do arms) feel really weak and sometimes like jelly, and im always so tired. these workouts aren't hard or long. why am i feeling so weak afterwards? im not unfit, i walk everyday and i've done dance classes since i was 4. i really dont understand.
oh wow, you should definitely speak to a doctor. even though you work out and are active, you could have some sort of deficiency like low iron, etc.. so make sure you get checked out. personally speaking, my arms felt and still do feel weak sometimes, but thats because i’m still building endurance and stamina. working out is important, but make sure you’re getting everything your body needs, vitamins, minerals, omegas, etc..
