Hi! I'm having a September Challenge on my weightloss account (losingweightfor2013) where people can give up a junk food item and/or drink at least 2L of water a day! I was wondering if you would like to join, or if you would be kind enough to tell your followers about it :) The challenge starts as of tomorrow at 12:01 am EST! :) All I would need is what challenge you/people are joining and the food item if it's the food one :) Thank you! :)
for the anon asking about jeans, also remember that your jeans sometimes stretch with you. idk if you gained weight or not, but sometimes if you do it gradually your jeans will stretch too so you can fit in them even though you might actually be a bigger size, so then after losing weight you can get that size in new jeans bc you are smaller even though the size is the same. I had these jeans that were a size 1 that I could wear when I was like a 7 or 9 bc of the material and stretching!
i’ve had similar experiences. sometimes coming out of the dryer, the jeans will be snug, and by the end of the day, they feel 3 sizes too big. thanks for your input :)
i don't know if this is normal or not so i decided to ask someone about it. okay so i lost 16 pounds this summer the healthy way and ive had to buy 2 new smaller pairs of shorts as summer progressed, but a couple days ago when i went to buy new jeans for school, i haven't went down a size since my last pair of jeans before summer started. idk if it's the certain brand i buy or what?
every brand is different, sometimes even a pair of jeans from the same brand, and same style can differ from piece to piece. and the material of the jeans also plays a part. don’t worry too much about it, just keep going, be healthy and the rest will fall into place! congratulations on your success so far! <3
i think/know im really fat. im 13 years old in a months time. all my friends think im really skinny but i know im not. im going to a swimming party next week, and i want to loss weight by than but i know it wont happen. i have put lots of kilo's on from last summer. and i dont want people to think different of me because im fat now... :(
Oh my sweet angel, you are not fat. And lets say you were, there are far worse things than being fat. In the wise words of J.K Rowling “Is ‘fat’ really the worst thing a human being can be? Is ‘fat’ worse than ‘vindictive’, ‘jealous’, ‘shallow’, ‘vain’, ‘boring’ or ‘cruel’?”.
Being overweight is something you can change, you have the power to shape your body. By eating right and exercising, you can be healthy, and that is whats most important. You’re so young to be worrying about such things. The media sends such mixed messages, and puts so much pressure on young girls like yourself. And to be honest, when I was your age, I didn’t really worry about such things. So I can only image how you feel. Focus on being happy, doing things that make you happy, spending time with people that make you smile. I don’t think any one will think differently of you, and if someone does, they clearly don’t deserve you in their life. Don’t get wrapped up in petty, small things. You are much better than this, much stronger than this, and your beauty is beyond skin and bone. Much like comparing one star to the other, both shine brightly in their own unique way, on their own unique path.
