Anonymous asked: So I recently fractured my foot and this has come in the way of my exercise. Although I'm still eating healthy I still don't feel right unless I exercise. Do you know anything I can do without having to use my foot too much?
I hope you get well soon, and make sure you rest your foot. Swimming is great, and little to no impact. Check out the two links below, they may be of some help, they mention the foot, but you should be able to apply the same tips to your ankle. Take care :)

Anonymous asked: what workout do you do and how long? :)
I walk/run with my dog for 3 miles or 4.8 km a day (usually takes me an hour), and on top of that I walk him for about 15 - 20 minutes 3 more times. And I stretch and do yoga for about 30 minutes. The long walk I usually do everyday, but most of it is uphill, so sometimes my legs get sore, in that case, I take a rest day. I want to start rollerblading, but I’ve never done it before… Can someone teach me? :)
Anonymous asked: i saw that you just answered a question about zigzag calorie eating for weight loss. how does that help? and if I'm a girl who's 5'5 , 21 years old and 177lbs what would a good way to start. thanks
Hi :)
Calorie zigzagging involves consuming a different amount of calories each day, while consuming approximately the same calories per week. According to livestrong.com, your body is prone to homeostasis. When you decrease your calories for a low-calorie diet, your body produces hormones to regulate metabolism and lipid oxidation; this process then slows how efficiently your body burns calories. Calorie cycling helps you to avoid this pitfall, tricking your body into staying away from a homeostatic state. You confuse your body into increasing your metabolism and losing weight as a result. Anonymous asked: What do you think of the abc diet?
Do you mean the Pro-Ana boot camp diet plan thing? Honestly, I just looked at it and it’s a little scary. I won’t judge anyone that’s done this, wants to do it or is doing it. I know what it’s like to want to change so desperately. But I don’t think its healthy, and I don’t know how long the results would last. Your body needs a minimum of 1000 calories, depending on height and weight, to perform basic organ functions. So please don’t do it :(
The abc diet seems to use calorie shifting or zigzagging, which can be helpful during weight loss, but your body needs more.
So a healthy example of zigzagging for a 20 year old 5’5 female that weighs 150 lbs would be: Day 1: 1250 Day 2: 1100 Day 3: 1450 Day 4: 1250 Day 5: 1100 Day 6: 1350 Day 7: 1200
You can calculate your daily calorie needs here (there’s a button below the results that says ‘7 day calorie cycle’, click that for a personalized calorie zigzagging plan) You can find more calculators on matchstickmolly :)
Anonymous asked: is it ok that i don't workout everyday? or do i have to workout everyday?
Of course it’s okay. Whatever you want, and whatever you feel is right for you. Just because you don’t workout everyday doesn’t mean you’re not living a healthy lifestyle :)
nevergiveup283to140 asked: Hey :) I am new to tumblr and not sure how to get followers. I have about 18 now. Whats the secret to getting my blog out there? I am here for the long haul and really dedicate time to update my blog everyday.
Hey :) Welcome! I’m very lucky that I get to interact with so many of you. But I don’t really have a secret, if there is one, I’ve been left out :( I just try to post original things, things that I can related to, things that I find inspiring, motivational, or useful in some way. I try to contribute as much as I can to the health/fitness/weight loss community. Updating regularly is important too. But don’t worry about it too much :) Followers will come!
I always say this, but I’ll always look at anyone’s blog if they ask me to, or even if they ask me a question. I’ll pretty much always follow if you’re a health, weight loss, or fitness related blog.
